Research & Insight:
My research delved into Belltown Bloom's content - watching performance videos, studying past lineups, and immersing myself in the music. To understand the project's scope, I also explored other music festivals. However, the "aha" moment came when I read the festival founder's mission to "uplift voices." This phrase became the driving force behind the visual identity and campaign design for Belltown Bloom.
Solution:
I designed a cohesive visual identity that reflects the Belltown Bloom Festival’s essence. The poster features an inclusive, genderless character with a mouth as a head, symbolizing uplifted voices. The vibrant color palette demands attention, while the handcrafted logo lends an authentic feel. The social media campaign extends the poster design, informing and enticing attendees about this can't-miss event.
